Why this route restores

Amager Strandpark is Copenhagen's beach city. A step-free boardwalk runs the whole 4.6 km, with the wide Øresund on one side and dune grass on the other. Fifteen minutes from the centre, and completely another world.

Presence notes

From Amager Strand Metro, walk south along the boardwalk. Cross the small bridges to the artificial island, and continue as far as legs allow — the horizon opens all the way to Sweden.
