Why this route restores

Howth is Dublin's cliff peninsula. The lower path gives the whole sea horizon, gorse-scented air, and a real cliff walk without any of the steep sections — twenty minutes on the DART from the city.

Presence notes

From Howth DART, walk east along the harbour and onto the cliff path. Stay on the lower loop (green markers) for the gentle route. Turn back at the Nose viewpoint.
