Why this route restores

This is where the LA basin remembers itself. Wide horizon, salt marsh birds, sea breeze, and a path that never tips or narrows. Not scenic in the postcard sense — but restorative in the ecosystem sense, and unforgettable at dusk.

Presence notes

Start at the Culver Boulevard trailhead and walk west toward the coast. The path is flat concrete the whole way, with the wetlands opening on your south side as you approach Playa Vista. Turn at the wetlands overlook or continue to Marina del Rey for a longer walk.
