Why this route restores

The Brick Works is what happens when a city treats its scars gently. A former brick quarry became a wetland, a market, a demonstration garden, and one of Toronto's most soul-aware public spaces. Boardwalks over water, restored native plants, and quiet paths — the walk itself is the healing.

Presence notes

Enter at the main pavilion and walk clockwise around the quarry ponds. Take the spur up the north overlook boardwalk for the loop's soft view, then descend into the Weston Family Quarry Garden. Finish at the market pavilion for a slow café pause.
